Võ Khí Đạo is a fight art which roots can be found in the 4000 year-old Vietnamese martial fight art tradition. Thus it unites elements of the Bình Định, Viêt Võ Đạo and Shaolin Kung Fu. The martial fight and defensive art is a comprehensive system of push and hit methods with hand, foot, fall and throw procedures, as well as weapon methods, Qigong and Tai Chi. The specific feature of this martial fight art is not only the concurrent defence and attack but also the looseness and the preservation of the body feeling. Võ Khí Đạo is based on the principle of yin and yang, so Hard and Softy. Thereby strengthens the applying of Võ Khí Đạo his physical strength, mobility, perseverance and concentration ability by well-balanced practicing. Also practicing of weapon technologies improves the feeling for own body and the movement coordination. The style of Võ Khí Đạo Kung Fu was founded by master Nguyễn Thanh Long. Practicing and life of Kung Fu belongs to the family tradition. Thus his both grandfathers were also known in the whole region for her excellent Kung Fu. The first Kung Fu exercises showed him his mother already at the age of 5 years and educated him under Buddhist, Taoist and Confuciaist influence to a polite, deferential and modest person.
